 “We first met Lorilee before she began her own practice. In our initial discussions at that time we knew that she would be the professional we chose to help us rework an almost impossible gerrymandered set of spaces in an 1845 Greek Revival house. Her fully-informed professional knowledge is complimented by an easy-going warmth and humor that helps mitigate the open-ended terrors of house renovation. Once we reached the kitchen design stage, we had multiple discussions in which Lorilee designed production cabinetry for a large stream-lined galley kitchen, including under-counter lighting, and maximized spaces with capacious convenient storage units. She also saved us both money and time by having custom cupboard doors made for several built in cabinets of non-standard sizes throughout the house, enhancing architectural elegance while fitting challenging spaces. She was always responsive to our questions, was always on time for meetings and deadlines, and worked extremely well with our builder and his crew. Her knowledge of the various complex product lines, and their relative cost vs. value, gave us maximum choice in creating a beautiful, functional set of spaces.  “We worked twice with Lorilee Reuillard of Starlight. The first time was to renovate a kitchen in our quintessential 1940s Maine coastal cottage. Everything was brand new and custom but done in the style of the cottage, Lorilee understood the look we wanted and worked hard to meet our budgetary constraints along with our design concepts. It turned out perfect in every way and she was a delight to work with.

The second time was our new house build - a large, modern dairy barn from the exterior with a grand open-concept great room with kitchen as you enter, dining space, living room, and bar.
