About Starlight Kitchen & Bath
Starlight Kitchen & Bath will discuss your design vision and budget, take measurements and explain the process from start to finish. We utilize the most up-to-date computerized kitchen and bath design tools, along with years of design experience, we’ll work with you to create your new beautiful, functional and timeless room. We are a certified member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association.

Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) & Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)
Not realizing it at the time, the years as a youth sitting on my grandfather's architect stool doodling homes eventually came to be a career and life passion. I officially began my kitchen and bath design career in the late 90's working at a local kitchen cabinet dealer. With a degree in Interior Design, from Endicott College, and a lifelong love of architecture, old homes, and beautiful spaces it was a natural fit. I love talking with a client and having them describe their vision of what they see the space looking like, and then designing and guiding them to that place! I network with other local professionals and will help a client as much or as little as they need.
In 2005 I studied, tested and passed my certification in kitchen design through the National Kitchen Bath Association. I hold my CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) credentials and CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) as a solid base for understanding the complexities of building and designing for my clients. Between my Interior Design degree and my continuing education in the field, I bring my clients and their builders a firm depth of knowledge of the design build industry.
In 2016, I decided to go out on my own opening Starlight Kitchen and Bath, bringing with me some of my favorite cabinet lines and vendors. It was fun creating my own space in our small barn to design a one of a kind showroom.

Lynne Gushee
Associate Designer and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)
Design has always been a big part of my life. My dad was a local builder who enjoyed fine finishing within residential structures. His crew would frame the buildings and dad would build the cabinetry and the woodwork throughout the homes he crafted. That look of satisfaction and pride he had in his completed projects is something I remember vividly as a child. From the time I was in 5th grade I was constantly drawing house plans, frequently during class-time, as teachers noted that I was “day dreaming” in class – I was day-dreaming in 3D!
Many professional hats have been worn over my years in business, but I found my passion in designing kitchens and baths, when I joined a local kitchen and bath design studio in 2008. I'm a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), and in addition, I hold a degree in Retail Business Management plus additional course study in architecture.
I have been involved with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) since 2008 and have been a member of the board since 2015, finishing my last term as President in 2021. I actively attend NKBA meetings and trainings to increase my knowledge base.
One of the greatest enjoyments in my job is getting to know my client’s vision for their spaces and guiding them in the design process. I like to share the finished creations with my husband, children and grandchildren so that they can see the pride I take in my work too!
